According to the Associated Press, a 31 year old Washington bride-to-be was heading back home from her bachelorette party when she was stopped by a cop for drunk driving. Andrea and Ashley’s wedding at the Convent in Daylesford is featured over on Polka Dot Bride today. Their wedding takes place on a lovely countryside and is filled with hints of vintage and olive green, soft pink and latte colors. The reason why the wedding took place at this specific location is because it is the same place where Ashley proposed to Andrea. Andrea wore a strapless gown from Linda Gorringe Couture.

Proposing Via the Internet

Liane Membis over on CNN has written an article today that generally asks the question, “Is chivalry dead in marriage proposals today?” Back thirty, forty, or even fifty years ago, men were more traditional and getting down on one knee was the expected way to propose. What Will Your Regrets Be After Your Wedding?

Many times brides will have regrets after their wedding is over. You know, what they wish they had done differently. Sometimes brides wish they wouldn’t have taken someone’s advice, and others wish many things differently. Christie has been guest blogging on A Mountain Bride and has mentioned 5 things that she regrets about her wedding day. Here they are:

1)  Pressured myself to include another bridesmaid

2)  Grew our own flowers

3)  Played Pachebel’s Canon in D

4)  Stressed about the size of the guest list

5)  Hired a student photographer

Maybe you have the same regrets, maybe you don’t. Why don’t you tell us your regrets? Or, visit A Mountain Bride to learn more about why Christie has these five regrets.

The phoenix is one of the most auspicious motifs for a bridal cheongsam; another top choices is peonies. Many brides will select cheongsams that are created from lucky red silk with gold embroidery.
